This morning, I voted.
I voted for climate action. I voted for refugees, for indigenous justice.
I voted for the rights of queer and disabled people.
I voted for the poor and the homeless. I voted for the unemployed and the working class.
I voted against corruption. I voted against fascism.
I voted for jobs and local manufacturing, for the Arts, for small businesses and community consultations.
I voted for all of these issues with one ballot paper. Most of all, I voted for hope. Let’s do this, Queensland.
