This morning, I voted.

I voted for climate action. I voted for refugees, for indigenous justice.

I voted for the rights of queer and disabled people.

I voted for the poor and the homeless. I voted for the unemployed and the working class.

I voted against corruption. I voted against fascism.

I voted for jobs and local manufacturing, for the Arts, for small businesses and community consultations.

I voted for all of these issues with one ballot paper. Most of all, I voted for hope. Let’s do this, Queensland.
